    Default 1841 Look up please

    Hi

Can anyone find Edward William Daniel in the 1841 census?

All I know is that he was buried 17/12/1842 aged 13 and that he lived in Coburg Street.I am trying to find who his parents were.

    Many Thanks

    Brenda

    Hi Brenda,

I noticed the Milk Street one but the problem with the 1841 census is that it only tells you if they were born "In County" or not. This ones was living in Leeds but not at the address he was in in 1842. Also living in the same house are John and Abitha Walsh born Ireland. James Daniel is also born in Ireland. None of these are old enough to be parents of Edward.

Not sure if this is the right one...is it possible to see if this Edward Daniel is on the 1851 census because if he is then it not the correct one.

Edward W Daniel died in 1842 West Leeds according to the Yorkshire BMD.

He would have been born 1829, too early to check most accessible on line records.

    Hi Brenda,

He isn't obvious on the 1851 but I can't find James or John and Abitha Marsh, so he could have died, be hiding from me or gone to Ireland with the others.
