Thread: Death in Canada??? McCormick

Hi there,



It;s been a while, I have been moving house, moving jobs and my husband and I are expecting out first baby in June, so not had much time for genealogy, but now I'm back and wil be trying to do as much as I can before June!!



My great grandfather Archibald McCormick, born in August 1895 in wigtownshire, scotland, apparently died in Canada, not sure when??? Couldn't find his death anywhere in english records thats when a family member told me it was canada.



Wonder if anyone can help me? I have had no joy so far.

I just came across your post - nothing to do this morning!! Do you know where in Canada Archibald McCormick lived? I checked the available census records (only available to 1911) and found no one the right age, and the government vital statistics sites seem to be down today - go figure! Let me know - I'm in Canada - I'll see if I can help
