Thread: 1891 census help please

Hi,

I've searched and searched the 1891 census for the following:



Frederick Messer b. c1868 at Chilworth OR Wheatley (seen both areas on other census')



Eliza Harriett Grove b. c1870 Hillingdon, Middlesex.



They were married Q1 1891.They lived in Uxbridge.



I cannot find EITHER of them! I've also searched Eliza MESSER, as they could have of course already been married at the time of the census, but no - an absolute blank. It's annoying me big time, I can tell you.



If anyone finds them please can they let me know?

The 1891 census was taken on 5th/6th April, so they would have been married.

Morning (!) slizzy, thanks for that. They still should have been on it though, and am more than a bit surprised that I can't find either of them!



I've been looking at 1891 census on Ancestry.co.uk rather than the FreeCEN site, so I would have thought their records were more or less complete.
