Thread: Help please Wanted

Recently got the Marriage certifcate of my Great Grandfather.

The people doing the Cencus did not help.

They change the surname several times.

Treadwell, Threadwell, Tredell, Treddle being some of them?

My problem is my Great Grandmother was Ann Thompson born in Keresley in 1853 her father was John Thompson.

I cannot find them on the 1861 or 1871 cencus.

Can anyone suggest something to try.

But she marrys a Corby in the 71 cencus.
