Thread: Help and Advice please.

I need some help and advice a bout how to go about the following.



I have a person in my Family Tree who tragically died in 1976 in a hospital in Nuneaton, Warks.There was an inquest held 7 days after the death by the Coroner for North Warwickshire. How do i go about obtaining any info on this inquest?? I thank anyone in advance for looking and helping me. Roberto.

Hello,

In short, I don't think you can due to the privacy laws and closure of such documents. I don't know, however, how long a time has to elapse with inquest reports or even if they are kept for posterity. What you could do is ask at the local record office and search some local newspapers as they probably reported it, although also probably not in any great detail.
