Does anyone have access to Parish Register information for Cleckheaton in 1830, please? I have Richard MORTIMER b.1830 Cleckheaton on the 1841, 1851 and 1861 censuses living with his grandmother Hannah MORTIMER. In 1841 there is also William MORTIMER, b.ca.1810, son of Hannah.



If possible, I would like to find out whether Richard is the son of the above William. I haven't found a marriage for William. I wonder who Richard's mother was and if she died at his birth.



In 1851 and 1861 Hannah and her grandson Richard are still living together.He is now a blacksmith.



In the 10 years between 1861 and 1871 Richard has married Nancy, 7 years his junior and born at Gomersall. They have two children, Eliza shown as age 2 (1869) and Arthur age 6 months (late 1870), both born Cleckheaton. The family are living in King Street, Cleckheaton and Richard is still a Blacksmith.



Richard appears to have died after the birth of Arthur as he is nowhere to be found after the 1871 census.



And after 1841 I lose William.



Any help would be appreciated.
