Thread: 1841/51/61 LOOK UP PLEASE

I am looking for Eliza S Burton b. abt. 1839 on the 1841/51/61 census, also her father Richard Burton. I was hoping to find her mother.



I have found Eliza on the 1881 (born Hants, Ive), and 1891 (born Wales).



I have her marriage certificate dated 1867 Parish of Clapham, Reg. District Wandsworth - father Richard Burton - Clerk of Works.



If anybody can spare the time to have a look for me I would be very grateful.

Ignore the 1861, I don't think that's her. However the 1851 looks more promising as Frost Lane is in Hythe.........which could have been misheard by the enumerator as Ive. What do you think?

I am sure you are right about the Ive and Hythe, I can't find anywhere in Hants called Ive or anything like it.



I think I may have found her on the 1841 with her family in Wales, also there is a Eliza S. Burton on the IGI bap. Monmouth Wales. She didn't seem sure where she was born, maybe that's because she was born in Hants and baptised in Wales!







The census looks likely, as does the birth - many thanks
