Thread: Help Please? Laundry owners

Hi Can anyone help me please? I have ancestors on the 1851 /61 census as being owners of a Laundry at Smith Street /Henry place LAmbeth [employing 8 workers , all family]. This family was Napoleon James Bolt and wife Mary [nee Miller] In 1841 Mary isnt married but she is at that address with sisters and an aunt [Caroline Miller]. So the place was in the family for quite a while.

I cant find these streets on any map. Can someone tell me where they were. Napoleon died in a workhouse in Marlborough street.

Would there be any records of laundrys?

I wold be very grateful for any help. Regards Seeker

henry place, lambeth as far as i can work out was in VASSALL road, which is now SW9
