Thread: WARBURTON

I am searching in vain for my GGGrandmother Elizabeth WARBURTON who married Christopher GALTON On the census she is listed as coming from Plymouth Devon ,born 1811.

She married Christopher in 1831 in Manchester cathedral .

She died 8 August 1853 in Hulme Lancashire.Christopher remarried 1 Jan 1854 to Ann HIGGINS.

Most of the Warburtons seem to come from up north so her family must be strays or something!

Christopher GALTON was born 1809 in Bradford Peverell Dorset.

As yet I haven't found your gggrandmother's birth, but I've found her, Christopher and their children on the census returns. Do you have names of all their children? If not I can let you have them, also census details.

Yes Slizzy I have them on the census. It is just her I am having trouble with. I have wedding cert and death cert.
