Thread: Fox in Liverpool - 1800's

Hi all,



I am trying to trace the Fox family who hailed from Liverpool.



My father Colin James Fox born 1931.

His father was James Joseph Fox born 1905 and married Mary Elizabeth Malloy

James' father was Thomas Fox born c.1863 and marreid Mary Ann Fleming

Thomas' father was John Fox I think and I guess he was born in 1830's or 1840's at a guess.



I realise this is vague info, but if anyone recognises this chain of Foxes from Liverpool, I would be very keen in tracing earlier than John Fox.



Perhaps John Fox came over from Ireland and the trail ends there?

Do you have this marriage certificate?

If not, you will need to apply for same to confirm Thomas's fathers name
