Thread: Henry James Mason's Parents.

could anyone help me find the parents of Henry James Mason. Info I have so far:



Henry James Mason Born abt. 1886, possible London.

In 1908 was a Journeyman Shoemaker and living at 4 Union Road Tufnall Park London.

1910 was a Boot Repairer.

1932 Henry James lived at 221 Hornsey Road North London.

Family members remember his occupation as a fitter for a Gas Company and towards the end of his life he was a newspaper seller in Camden.

He went by the nickname of Cronji (not sure of the spelling)



Henry James Mason married Florence Julia Cook on the 26th. November 1908 at the Islington Reg office. Florence's father on wedding cert is Joseph Ernest Cook.



Henry & Florence's wedding cert also shows Henry's Father James Mason as deceased and the Occupation was Horse Dealer, so I know James died before 1908, but I do not have any other details. I Would like to know the name of Henry James Mother, date of marriage to James or their dates of birth and location.



I would be so grateful if anyone can help me find more any information on Henry James and his parents. I have been hitting brick walls for a few years now...and I've had enough of the headaches and need your help.

I've found the Mother of Henry James Mason.



She is EMMA MASON nee PAXTON. b. 1845 Waddesdon Buckinghamshire.



She had 4 Children,

• Emily Mason b.1874 Pancras Camden, (Kentish Town). Died 1893 Pancras, Middlesex aged 19. (Would like her birth Index to order the certificate)
  

• Joseph Henry Edwards Mason b.13 April 1880 Pancras, Middlesex. Died 1882 Pancras Middlesex aged 2 years. (I have his birth cert).
  

• Herny James Mason. b.1884 Pancras Middlesex (would like to know his birth Index to order certificate).
  

• William Henry Mason. b1888 Pancras Middlesex. (would like to know his birth Index to purchase is certificate).
  

This is becoming one crazy family....no wonder I've had so much trouble finding them.



Emma was widowed soon after her daughter Emily was born, but she still managed to have 3 more children. I ordered the birth cert for her son Joseph Henry Edwards Mason, but no father was entered.



I am still looking for the other childrens birth certs.



Also Henry James Mason married Florence Julia Cook, (my 2xGreat Grand Parents) in 1908. They had 2 children. Then Florence Julia set up home with Henry's brother William and had a child by him.



Still don't know what happened to Henry James Mason.

There are two other William Henry's in Pancras 1884



Can't find a Henry James registered Pancras



If you have a look on the free bmd site you could see the most likely matches.
