I've found 3 John Lucas' born in Dorset on the 1841 census, unfortunately the 1841 doesn't give place of birth only wether born in county. Do you have any other info ie. wife's name, parent's, occupation?

I am looking for John Lucas (Lukis) in 1841 census born 1812 Handley, Dorset (had a reply from Slizzy- but my computers been down). Thanks for that reply, i can add that his parents names were William and Patience Lucas, although i imagine by 1841 he may have married.

Hi Tina, this could be him ....... Tarrant Gunville is very close to Handley. John is an Ag. Lab. The 1841 census rounded ages down.
