Hey Guys,
I'm looking for the Woodham family who originated around the Lewisham district. I have found the patriarch of the lot on the 1841 census in Lewisham, can't quite make out the address though, could be Grove Place. If someone could check that as well.
Anyway, the family consists of William & Ann (75 & 60 on 1841) born in Kent. I believe William died in 1849 and Ann in 1865, but can't find any later censuses with her present (please check). Their three children were:
- Mary Ann b. 1792, Bromley (her illegitimate daughter Emily was with Wm & Ann in '41, she died in '42, aged 17) don't know what happened to her.
- William Thomas b. 1793, Bromley d. 1878, Keston m. 1816, St George Hanover Square to Hannah Blanch b. 1893, Chelsea d. 1863, Bromley
- Sophia Woodham b. 1795, Bromley. Have no further information on her either.
William and Hannah had three children, who I would like info for also:
- Frances Ann b. 1817, Lambeth d. 1851, Marylebone (in July, so don't know if she'll make the census) m. 1838 Augustus Toulmin, 6 children
- William Henry b. 1819, possibly married Ann Addis in 1844, St. Pancras, but not verified.
- Frederick Blanch b. 1821, Lambeth d. 1910, New Zealand m. Ann Warrington in 1847, Lewisham. She was born in 1823 in Deptford. Frederick & Ann emigrated to NZ in 1850, so will only be on the '41.
A big thanks in advance
Baz
