Thread: Robert Evans.Emigration to US?

I am struggling to find out whether my gt uncle emigrated to US. Story in family was that he did,but i have now found military records upto 1911 and a death certificate for him in 1940. He was born and lived in Westbromwich staffs, married to Eliza. Is there any family out there who know the answer?

Hi Mary - it's possible to look at passenger lists and US census but it is a very common name and there are lots of Robert Evans! Do you know his date of birth to narrow it down?
