Default stuck on brick wall again

Hi everyone i hope you all had a good christmas and best wishes to you all for the new year

I have hit the brick wall again, i would love to find out information about my great grandmother and her family, all i do know is her life since she married my great grandfather he was james hammond her name was sarah she was born approx 1859. i beleive she was born in st johns wood london and her maiden name might have been Hunt.

James and sarah married in 1883 and lived in cadbury street bermondsey london. They had 10 children and sarah died in 1908 aged 49.

I have been trying to find information out about her parents but so far have had no luck and i have been trying for 8 months now if anyone can help i would be greatfull

thankyou for taking the time to read this

    Hi Angie,

Who or what is your source that the marriage took place in 1883?

Do you have a copy of the marriage certificate? this should give Sarah's fathers name which would be something to work with.

    Hi Angie,

It may be worth your while ordering the certificate from the following:

    certificate.services@ons.gov.uk

I don't know how you will be able to get any further otherwise.

    Hi

I too am researching James Charles Hunt, b 1847, St Johns Wood, Marylebone - birth certificate states mother as Sophia Hunt but no father's name = my brick wall. Wondering if you had any responses to your request - any overlaps maybe?

    thanks to all
