Thread: Where Is this place

Hi all



I am trying to find where Berkinshaw would be. I have an ancestor who died in Yeadon, West Yorkshire, she married in Otley, West Yorkshire and her husband was born and died in Yeadon as well, I have her birth noted as Berkinshaw but i cannot find where in the UK it is (or is it a figment of my imagination)

Well....I have also googled for this place lol and it DOES exist...just not sure where?!?!?



The only relevant item I found was "that the Regional Fire Investgation Team was launched at the West Yorkshire training centre at BERKINSHAW



Maybe you could contact the North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service to ask whereabouts this BERKINSHAW is?!

I think you'll find it's BIRKENSHAW you're looking for. It's south of Bradford, south west of Leeds. Look on google maps uk........search 'Birkenshaw West Yorkshire'

hi berkinshaw is near batley which is about 30 mins drive from yeadon

who are your relatives i may be able to help you more as i live in otley and also had relatives who came from yeadon as well hope this helps
