Hi Kptz,
Can you give more details on the 1901 census? It will have reference details to help in the search in 1891. Thanks.
Hi Slizzy --
You actually found this information for me when I first joined -- under the Request Help Board -
1901 Census Everton Liverpool (184 Grt Homer Street)
John Corcoran/19/boarder/Liverpool
Elizabeth Moore/26/wife/Ireland
Francis Moore/3/son/Liverpool (this my GF)
James Moore /28/head/baker/Liverpool
James Moore/6/son/Liverpool
John Moore/9/son/Liverpool
Mary Patterson/40/visitor/Liverpool
I am interested in the marital status of Mary. The name of Elizabeth's father is John and I don't see him listed here - perhaps he is deceased or perhaps she just came to visit?
Thanks for your help.

Hi, I think this is them. Elizabeth is recorded as married. Juliet on the original is JAMES (a biscuit baker) They are living at Great Homer St.

Hi Slizzy - sorry for the delay in responding - internet glitches on and off!
You are AMAZING! It is interesting they are all at Great Homer Street. On my GF's birth certificate, the address listed is Great Homer Street. On the marriage certifcate for James and Elizabeth, it lists 37 Smithfield Street, Liverpool for James and 184 Great Homer Street for Elizabeth. Also, the father's name for James is incorrect - it is listed as James and it should be William. The occupations of the respective fathers is also reversed - the groom's father was a baker not a rigger; I am assuming that rigger is the occupation of the bride's father. Here, Elizabeth gives her age as 17 for marriage, but the marraige certificate gives her age as 18.
They were married at St. Anthony's Chapel, Scotland Road. Do you think the church would have a record of the marriage and that I could write for a copy?
Thanks again Slizzy for researching the information.

Hi Kptz,
You are most welcome, my pleasure. I don't know wether the church would have a record of the marriage, but it is certainly worth asking.........nothing ventured, nothing gained.
If you would like a copy of the census sheet, PM me your e-mail address and I'll forward it to you.
