Any one fancy a challenge, we have been looking for the marriage of Madeline Smith and John Powell for months with no success so you are my last hope. Their daughter Madeline Maud Powell was born October 1877, Birkenhead and in the 1881 and 91 census she is staying with a different family first as a visiter then adopted daughter, on the birth certificate it gives mothers maiden name and states that John was a Coachman.



What I need is marriage information and where they came from, can't find them in any census before or after the birth.
