Hello Again, I am inquiring again about WILLIAM DARBY and ELIZA WINTERTON. I have some info but i am still confused.



In the 1881 census there is a WILLIAM DARBY born in ragdale,leics, who married ELIZA ?, maybe either WINTERTON or FAULKNER??



IN the 1891 they are there again living in barrow upon soar,

WILLIAM DARBY age 39 stableman at hosiery works but this time they wrote barrow upon soar

ELIZA DARBY age 40 barrow upon soar

MABEL MARY DARBY dau age 9



1901 census



WILLIAM DARBY age 49 barrow upon soar drayman

ELIZA DARBY 49 barrow upon soar

MABEL MARY DARBY dau age 19 barrow upon soar hosiery machinest.





Is there anyway you could try and see if there was a WILLIAM DARBY born around 1851/52 in ragdale leics, please.

I found a William christened 01/08/1852 in Barrow upon Soar to John Darby and Ann Chapman.



there is another William born March 1858

Well with some great help, this puzzle is solved. there are 2 william darby's that I was mixed up with. Well the first one is WILLIAM DARBY b 1 aug, 1852 in mountsorrel,leics.He married ELIZA FAULKNER . They had children born in enderby,leics. He was the son of JOHN DARBY and ANN CHAPMAN. the other WILLIAM DARBY in my tree was the son of WILLIAM DARBY and ANN DARBY(nee RICHARDS) he married ELIZA WINTERTON . William was born the 26 aug, 1851 thrussington,leics and he died the 24 sept, 1929 in barrow upon soar .ELIZA was born the 27 dec, 1850 barrow upon soar and she died dec, 1937.they had one daughter together MABEL MARY DARBY b 19 may, 1881 barrow upon soar, and she died the 15 nov, 1935 westminster NW london, and married FRED TOWLE.
