Thread: George Robinson 1901

Can someone have a look on the 1901 census for George William Robinson, Irthlingborough Northamptonshire. I feel fairly sure that's where he came from but other than that know nothing about him or his family. The daughter I do know about was born in 1909 -too late for the census.

I'd like to know who he married as well if that were possible. I've tried Freebmd but there were too many of the same name to work it out,

Strange name EADY.........has to be a wrong transcript surely.........but I'll have on to them anyway as theyre Irthlingborough. Thanks again

Been sifting through various Robinsons I found on IGI and freebmd and wondering if this chap is who I want.

My main link to him I really want to be a Goosey and I found Albert George W. Robinson b.1894 Denham Buckinghamshire.

I went on to find an Albert E Robinson who married Ethel R Goosey in the June qtr. 1924 in Bedford district (3b 808) and wondered if this chappie was maybe mistranscribed on free bmd and is actually Albert George W. Robinson who maybe later was just know as George William Robinson. If he is then he just might be my Goosey connection.

Am I going in the right direction ? Mum always said gt.aunt Florence was a 'Goosey' and this might give the link I'm after.It's not Irthlingborough where Mum always said gt.aunt florence came from but she could have got mixed up with that and the fact that gt.aunt had a niece there.

I don't want to get all excited if I'm going up the wrong path though.
