My mind is completely fuzzed with this one, so hoping someone with fresh ideas can help.
Elizabeth Lister Binns born 1829 in Leeds.
Daniel Curry Priestley born 1827 in Leeds.
Elizabeth and Daniel were married in 1849 in Leeds.
1851 census they are living in West Derby no children.
1861 census Elizabeth is back in Leeds, a widow with 3 children ages 5, 3, and 1.
1871 census Elizabeth's surname has changed to Atha and she's a widow living with 2 of her children in Leeds.
I found a marriage Jun qrt 1863 Leeds of Elizabeth Priestley and John Atha. And 2 possible deaths for John Atha in Leeds in 1864 and 1865.
However I cannot find a possible death for Daniel Priestley. The only death I can find is .... Daniel Curry Priestley Jun qrt 1864 in Wigan.
So, did Elizabeth marry bigamously? or have I missed another possible marriage for her to a Mr Atha, or maybe not found the correct death of Daniel Priestley.
I soooooo hope someone can help, any ideas will be welcome. I'm tearing my hair out over this one and I swear I will be bald soon
