hi, i have a marriage for a phyllis mccormick and a robert marsden, takes place 1934, oldham register office or registra attended, i wonder if some one had access to eltroll rolls,or would be able to find out who the parents of these people were,(i know i could send for the marriage certificate but if it's wrong that's £7-00,)all so could you find out if these people divorced,(no children with the couple as far as i know)thank you for looking,

Hi Wendy - unfortunately I think the only realistic way to find what you want is to get the certificate! And hardly any divorce records for the period are still in existence. I had a look and agree they don't seem to have had any children - unless after they had been married a long time.
