Thread: Birth Certificate look up

Hi



I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a birth certificate look up.



Im trying to find my grand fathers birth certificate.





His name was George White Farquhar.

He was born in Scotland (possibly fife but possibly also Dundee).

He was born 28th February 1920.





I dont know his parents name though which makes it awkward - can anyone help me - im trying to find out his parents' names so i can do a census look up.

Unfortunately Scottish births are only online up to 1906.

As you have the birth date you should be able to obtain the birth certificate though - look on www.gro-scotland.gov.uk
