Thread: Need help with Tebbs again!!

I am looking for the children of William Arthur Tebbs and Lizzie Winifred Tatham, they married in 1905. William was born in West Bromwich but moved to Alnwick where a son Arthur J Tebbs was born in 1914.I would like to know who Arthur married and if he had any children.Also did William and Lizzie have any more children.Thanks Brenda

Almost sure that this is correct as mothers middle name was Winifred and Grandmothers name was Mary...so helpful when they do this!!! Brenda

Searched 1930-1950 marriages & no Arthur J. Of the Arthurs the most likely is probably -

Arthur Tebbs to Mary J McGee Wakefield 2d 1543 1/1948

I guess you might need to send for the certificate to be sure.

The others I didn't think very likely but am listing them just in case-

Arthur E to West - Peterborough 3b 664 2/1935

Arthur to Pavey - Gosport 2b 1831 3/1936

Arthur L to Helps - Willesden 3a 1200 2/1938

If you think any are possible I will look for children

Of the 4 the first one is the most likely, the only misgivings I have is that Mary is from Wakefield and I cannot find any family connections to that area.There is of course always the possibility that he did not marry. Looks like a brick wall for this one!!!
