Thread: Help with Godden Side of Family Tree

Trying to find some information on a Jane A Godden (married name is Turner), she was married to a Laurence George Charles Turner.



Her parents names I think are Frederick Godden and Gladys or Winifred Bloodworth from the Surrey area.



Would like any information that I could get on her ie. date of birth, family members names, etc. Also I think Jane A Godden had a daughter before she married Laurence George Charles Turner.

Jane A Godden i think was born about 1926 or 1927. She married in 1949 to Laurence George Charles Turner. I think may be I am looking at about 1926 1927 or earlier if possible but I have no idea on what dates because I don't know much about this side of the family.

You need to check the GRO records. After 1912 the mother's maiden name was put on a birth registration. There are lots of sites you can register with that do vouchers. www.findmypast.com or Ancestry.com Also you could order the marriage certificate which would give you both fathers names.

Winifred Bloodworth 1905 1Q Godstone, Surrey (ref 2a 224)



Also Jane had a sister named Daphne J Godden who was register in 1931 2Q Godstone, (ref 2a 412) mothers maiden name given as Bloodworth
