This is my first post and I have only recently started researching, so apologies if this isn't the right board etc.
I wonder if anyone has any information on two old addresses in Liverpool.
The first , something that looks like "13 in 2 court" Horatio Street is from the 1871 Census and has my Great great grandparents, Thomas and Bridget Lloyd, living there with their children. I am not sure if this no longer exissts. Google Maps puts it near Brunswick Street dock, but I have also seen other references to it being in the "Scotland Municipal Ward', which made me wonder whether it was instead a long-ago demolished address off Scotland Road?
Does anyone have any idea about the social conditions Horatio Street would have been in - I suspect not great if it is court housing at that time, but I might be wrong.
The second address, in the 1901 Census, has my great grandparents living in "21 Sackville St, Everton". I can't see any modern reference to this street or any Google maps hits in Everton, and I again wonder if this is an old address long ago demolished in the Bootle/Everton area, or was the name of the road changed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Peter Lloyd
