Default 1861 census blackburn look up

    Hi

Wondered if some kind person could do a look up for me of who was living at 200 Audley Range Blackburn in 1861 . I am looking for a Grenhalgh/ Greenhalgh family. Or whether a Samuel Grenhalgh/ Greenhalgh age 44 born in Chorley is on the census at all. Not sure if there are indexes to the census.

I am at a complete dead end with this Samuel and would love some help,

    Thank you

    Hi Sezzyann,

Can you please give more info on the Samuel you are looking for?

Do you know his wife's name, or children's names?

Any extra info you can give will help in the search.

In the 1881 census these are the details

Samuel Grenhalgh age 54 b. Chorley

No wife on census but states he is married.

Eunice Gr Daughter age 25 b. Blackburn

    Ellen Gr Daughter age 21

    Samuel Gr Son age 18

    John Gr Son age 16

    William Gr Son age 10

    Albert Gr son age 6

    All children born in Blackburn

    Hope that helps

Just realised I meant 1871 census when Samuel was 44 or 1861 census when he was 34.

    Thanks
