Thread: Peter Lisseman

I have at last managed to find a generation and now i am trying to find another,this time i would like help in trying to find the birth date and place for Peter Lisseman.All i know of Peter is that he was married twice first to Elizabeth in 1797. Son Joseph(lissimore) was born the same year in Deritend , Warwickshire. Secondly he married Mary Spragg 28/1/1807 in Aston Juxta Birmingham, Warwick, England.I am sorry that details are a little vague but i am sure some one can pont me in the right direction

This batch number on IGI for Peter's marriage has his surname as Lissaman. This will be another surname worth people looking for.

Many thanks for your reply Starlight. I must admit that i was trying every possible spelling for lissimore,but as yet no positive father or mother.

I did come across some of my old notes and found that i had James Lyssiman born 1716 in Colwell Hereford and wife Eizabeth Symonds marriage was in Berrow, Worcetershire on june 1740.

I am still trying to match it any help would be grateful
