John Frances Trew 1790 and onwards shows up through the Census's I need info on Fathers Names, occupations, wifes and offspring I thought family had a fork in the road ( different line) but that now seems it that may be incorrect. It also appears that some John Frances Trew's died young however to whom becomes a mystery.

Hi there - I'm not very clear as to what you're looking for - is it anything on any John Francis Trew? Could you indicate what you've got so far?

Hi Gillian thanks again for your reply- My John Frances (was a son of Thomas and Frances Trew - Witham ) born 19 Apr christened 17 Jul 1790 his son John Frances was possibly born around 1825 - his brothers from the Thomas and Frances Trew may also have John Frances (or just Frances) amongst there children because I since are finding other John Frances Trew's such as - Born 1848 And 1849 this is why I need the info I requested from all the census.

I had a look at Witham parish records & couldn't find John F's (b 1790) marriage - I think it must have taken place elswhere.

I found a couple of his brothers -

Thomas Trew b Feb 19 baptism Mar 2 1788

William Trew b May 14 baptism Aug 12 1792

parents Thomas & Frances

I also found marriage Thomas Trew to Frances Cannum Dec 24 1786

Big Thanks Gillian The William I didnt have so thats another for my Tree (was the baptism at the St Nicholas Parish church Witham?) Now back to John Francis I'm now trying to possibly confirm a Ann Jane McQueen 9th April 1847 as a his wife married Southwark Surrey and a son John Francis born around 1825 and/ or other members to this family.

Yes - it was St Nicholas.

The marriage you refer to - John Trew to Ann McQueen 9 April 1815 Surrey Southwark St Saviour looks quite promising but I can't find any evidence that John was born in Witham. There is a possible son John William born 20 March, christened 14 April 1822 Surrey St Mary Newington parents John & Ann but not a John Francis.

The John Francis birth you mention is I think this one in London Shoreditch St Leonards born 14 July 1825, christened 2 Aug 1825 parents Willliam & Mary Ann.

Thanks again Gillian because I been working backwards it can mean I'm Chasing my tail - Facts there is a John Frances Trew born sep 1848 bethnal Green parents unknown ( died sep 1848) and John Frances Trew also born Sep 1848 Shoreditch parents unknown There was a John Frances Trew married a possibly a Ann Peterson Newington Jun 1847 and a John Frances Trew Married Dec 1848 Islington Any Census Info ( i.e Occupation) for these would possibly help. Thomas Trew And Frances Cannum havea lot to answer for

Unfortunately the census records don't usually have the second names. I think this is probably JF born 3/1848 Shoreditch though -

John Trew 18 months son b Middlesex Shoreditch

Which would make the marriage possibly John Francis Trew to Ann Jane Lucas 4/1848 Islington 3 205 - though this is after the birth
