Hi, My mother was born at Clarence House, Lelley Lane, Hornsea in1928. Her mother was a housekeeper according to the birth certificate, Is it possible to find out whose house it actually was. I believe Lelley Lane became Hull Road.
Thanks.

Hi Davanel
Heres the link for the local archives for Hornsea. If you arent able to attend in person, they may be helpful in searching for you. The Electoral Roll and/or the local street directory should name the family

Hi Davanel,
I have been making some enquiries about Clarence House for you as I used to work for the East Riding Council.
If you key in (archives.service@eastriding.gov.uk) and then (Treasure House, Champney Road, Beverley) in their search box, it will give you several email addresses which you can contact for information.
Hope this helps, good luck.
