Thread: STOREY search

Hi. I am stuck on a certain name. Don't know where to look anymore. I have a George Storey (b) 1858 in Coundon, Auckland,Durham. Parents are William Storey & Sarah (nee: Jolly).

I cannot find the BMD year for either parents. Also how do i find a parish record for William Storey & his parents?



Any help would be appreciated.

Did you get George's parents from his birth certificate? Do you have him on any census? Reason I am asking is that I have found -

Marriage William Storey to Sarah Jolley 23/7/1819 Auckland St Andrew - which is too early for them to be parents of child born 1858.

Thanks Gillian. Sorry , forgot to put in before George Storey, there was a Robert Storey (b) 1820, married to Sarah Robinson (b) 1821.

I think the william & Sarah you found are the correct ones, so a big thank you for the marriage date.

Now i need to find out who William's parents where.
