Thread: Nacouz cotton merchants liverpool 1880

Can any one tell me where the Nacouz co was based in Liverpool from one of the directories. I know that the family had a house in Sefton Drive & moved to Hoose about 1887-8. Any information would be gratefully received.

I have checked Liverpool Street Directories for 1860, 1881 and 1911 and there is no listing for Nacouz cotton merchant's.

Could you let me know the name of your family member connected to this firm, they may be listed under their name as a broker.

His name was Gabriel Nacouz. He came to Britain we believe in 1871, & left in 1889/90. both he & his wife died in 1894

I found the address in the 1881 Street Directory only.

The next one after this that I have, is 1911. Sorry
