Thread: Need Advice

I seem to be stuck, HENRY SUTTON was born February 15, 1718 in Horton Staffordshire. He married SARAH SHOPPLEBOTTOM July 05, 1745 in Biddulph Horton Staffordshire.



Now Henrys birth here is shown as a christening record for 1718 international Genealogical Index with Father named Heny Beard and mother Sarah Sutton. I am confused from this point on, and unsure of where to look next. Any advice would be appreciated.

It looks as if his parents weren't married. Your nearest Family History Center (branch of the LDS library) would borrow the film for you to look at for a small fee - it might be worth pursuing this as there could possibly be more information on the original entry. At that date there isn't usually much detail but it's worth a try.
