About LinkBacksCould anyone find a marriage in Minchinhampton,Dursley or Fifield 1n about 1816 between Thomas Lucas born 1791 1n Minchinhampton and Elizabeth,surname not sure ,could be Ysaacs.?

I have come across a marriage for a Thomas Lucas for about 1789 Dursley but the year is way off and his bride was a Jane Wyman. Ken dont know if you have this link but if you type in your names perhaps refine the search method if need be start by looking for your Thomas. I will still see what I can find for you. Marion

Me again. I,m just looking through the Pallots Marriage Index for you for Minchinhampton and found these Lucas fellows. Maybe some of yours?
Robert Lucas married a Mary day in 1811 Minchinhampton.
Mary Lucas married a William Stafford 1808 Minchinhampton. Ken can you give me anything more. Should that surname be Isaacs and not Ysaacs? Your signiture names show the surname Isaac so thats why I asked.
Ok well I will be back Ysaac later. Little joke.

Thanks Marion,Yes that is the family I was Looking for,the Thomas who married Jane Wyman in 1789,They had a son named Thomas born 1791,He is the one who married Elizabeth Isaacs and lived in Lambeth in1851 census. In their sons marriage certificate which I saw only a few days ago. It spells Isaacs as Ysaacs.(mother).The Priest who married them in 1849 was Spanish and wrote as it sounded.The Priest was Murdered in 1885. ! Hope all this does,nt sound very confusing.

Ok Ken Ysaacs it is. Do you need any further help with this one or are you right now? I wonder why the Priest was murdered? Lets hope it wasn,t over his bad pronounciation and spelling of people,s surnames. Can I help you Ken with another search?
