Thread: my hampshire surname interests are groat and, schofield,

can anyone help me trace information on ewings groat and his family please, all i have found of ewings is him leaving scotland and moving to england, ewings groat was born 1832 wick caithness. was a widower when he left scotland. and moved to portsea island, he met and married
anne schofield in 1860, they had a son named george james groat born 1861, they are on the 1861 census for portsea island,
i have hit a brick wall looking for them, any information will be greatly appreciated thank you.
