    Hi,
I have a cross collie dog 3yrs old, and he is a very poor eater unless we feed him by hand he would not eat at all, and will not eat anything out of a tin. We have had dogs in the passed and they have always had a good appetite and ate anything. Any ideas, Larry is loveley he has a great temperament and gives us a lot of love.

    Hi
I have three canine friends running amok in my house - 2 Jack Russells (Dad and daughter) and one blind Blue Rhone Cocker Spaniel (overweight and a real sook).
The older Jack is 16 and a bit senile now, the daughter is really bossy.
    Cheers

    Hi,
I have 2 black Labradors, they are brothers and 2 years old. We have had 1 from 3 months, but only got his brother when he was 10 months old, because his owner couldn't keep him anymore, and couldn't find another home. THey are totally different in looks and personality, and you wouldn't believe they were from the same litter. We do have some problems with them, and when I have a bit more time, I'll post and see if anyone has any ideas to help. I'll also post piccies when I find out how.

We now also have another patterdale...same colour as Bailey...called Sally! We rehomed her on Friday...she's adorable & doesn't dig so we're hoping she teaches his nibs some manners...

Hiya Raven...yes it was!! It suggested marking out a particular 'digging spot' in the garden where Bailey can be as destructive as he likes...which I've now done. I've to encourage him to use this spot by burying treats, toys etc there so he knows that it's ok for him to dig there. If I find him digging anywhere else, I've to move him back to his designated spot until he understands he cannot just dig anywhere. It also suggested giving him plenty of toys to play with which he's already got so that's not a problem. The site also mentioned that he may be digging because he thinks he can hear small furries such as moles moving about under the soil...Bailey is a patterdale & these are working terriers bred for hunting vermin...so this could be a good explanation as to why he digs all over the place, in which case we may just have to deal with it!! ;P

Thanks for the link...it's much appreciated, we're going to try everything & keep our fingers crossed.... I'll keep you informed...x
