Hya...as you will all be able to see, I have Bailey the patterdale/lakeland cross who is 10mths & Toby the ginger cat who is 6 yrs ish? We also have 3 fish called bobinogs, ozzie & bubbles! Bailey is a real character who has come on leaps & bounds since we first got him...we bought him from a farm & it turned out he had contracted campylabacter food poisoning from there...we very nearly lost him! He loves chasing things....Toby....birds...ducks....squirrels...foo tballs....wheelie bins....

    Hi girls...

I have a tri-coloured collie cross by the name of Dennis or as the kids affectionately call him Dendog.. Den is nearly 5 years old and we got him from the local Dog's home in Aberdeen... I have recently taken him to obedience classes and I can say in all honestly was the best thing I could have done...
He loves going to his classes on a Friday and has made a few friends...lol just like his mum.lol... I have posted a couple of pics of him.. One on his own and the other with DQ... My eight year old daughter..
    See ya all later..

Hello, take it this is a new forum. Well may as well visit here while searching for relatives lol!
I have a lovely Heinze 57 called (you guessed ) Bracken she is ten years old.
I bought her from an animal sanctury when she was just four and a half months old.
I was told she was a Bearded Collie X, but have been stopped by Wheaton Terrier breaders and asked if she is one (she is the same collouring and same hair but bigger) and a vet once said she had the look of a Briard.
She has always been a sickly dog and suffered from ear mites all her life as hard as I try to keep her ears free they come back. She also suffers from allergies which brings her out in a rash. This is mainly from rolling in grass when she goes to the park. She also has hey fever and sneezes loads.
Sometimes she is almost human when I talk to her, she is my best friend and the best thing since slided bread.
She has longish hair but will not let me brush her legs which end up knotted so I have to cut chunks off every few weeks.
I got some usefull info a couple of months ago from a lady I called out to trim her (bad job but info good lol) Bracken has had steriods most of her life so is a bit podgy and skin loose. This lady told me that while taking steroids she will never lose the weight and it is them that cause the loose skin. She advised me to get some powder called "thornit" it is a canker powder but I can honestly say that in ten years of really suffering her ears are so much better. I bought it from the internet. I will give out the addie if I am allowed to. I would recomend it if your dog sufferes anything like mine did.
I will upload a piccy of her when I find out how to.
    TTFN, Bracken xx
