I will have a look at what I can find for you. Do you know what area they lived in as there are a few cemeteries in Oldham. Some have been redeveloped. The main ones are Chadderton, Hollinwood, Failsworth, Greenacres, Royton, Crompton, Uppermill. There are quite a few small ones belonging to churches etc.

They lived in Douglas Rd Nottingham, but I am not sure if Oldham is in or connected to Nottingham.

Sorry I'm not sure what part of Oldham they resided in. My mum just say's her step sisters came from Oldham. Although I know through research that my mum's dad's first wife's brother lived in Failsworth. So it could quite possibly be there.

Thankyou for your kind offer. It is very much appreciated.

Hi Leeron,

If it's the Douglas Road I'm thinking of then it's part of Lenton in Nottingham, just off the Derby Road

There are also a couple more cemeteries, one at the top of Canning Circus and another one at the top of Mansfield Road. I do not know who takes care of them though.

If all else fails you could try emailing the Nottingham Registry Office on Shakespeare Street see if they can help you.

I would love to offer more assisstance but health probs leave me limited

Good luck with your research.
