My Lancaster grandparents are buried in the now derelict St Catherine's (CofE) Cemetery on the Trafford Park side of Barton Bridge, on the Old Barton Road.
They died in 1941 and 1961 respectively. I would like to find out what other people of the same surname lived in the same part of Salford and Manchester during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. (I'm not even sure what the district is called. It may be Eccles or Barton.) I would appreciate pointers to online and other sources of information. tlanc |

Hi TLANC and welcome. I am not to sure if i can help you ,but if you post the names of the people/family's and any dob's. I will look at what info i have for Barton/Eccles part of Salford for you. I am sure i must be able to find you something on some of your family or about the area they lived in back then. i would not be able to locate any burials in Salford but may be able to help if any in Manchester. It's a bit of pot luck as to what records i hold.
