Hello,

Can anyone point me in the right direction for researching tomestones online?

My relatives above are buried in the Rettendon area of Essex. How do I go about finding them please??

1st Qtr 1967 Winifred Age 49 (Chelmsford District)

1st Qtr 1960 Herbert Age 42 (Chelmsford District)

Apologies if I am being a little dim but new to this game

If you go to

it will give you a list of cemetaries & crems in the area - contact the Superintendant at each, with the details you have - they are usually very helpful - you could also do the same with funeral directors who usually come up with costs & who paid etc
