Good evening,
Can any one please help me. I have come up a blank wall.
I am trying to locate a birth and marriage certificate.
Thoma Cain - Born in Ludlow 1st quarter 1823.
He died in London 1st quarter 1876
was supposed to have been married to a lady called Georgina. She as born in Hastings about 1838 (not sure on that one!) She was his second wife!
I have spent hours searching for both birth/marriage.
Do hope some one cam help me please.

From the 1871 census I see that Thomas has a stepdaughter Kate Turpin.....I've found the following marriage on Freebmd

Marriages Jun 1863 (>99%) CAIN Henry Thomas Stoke D. 5b607 DANNEN Mary Ann Stoke D. 5b607 THOMAS William Stoke * 5b607 TURPIN Georgeina Stoke D. 5b607

Ive copy & pasted as there are spellling errors!!

If you are sure he died in London....the death record is:

Cain Thomas Age 53 St Olave Vol 1d Page 125 Mar QTr 1876

Hi again

Kate Turpin was living with her grandparents PEARN on 1861....so....

Marriage Dec 1857 Stoke Dameral 5b 571
Georgina Pearn & John Turpin

(also on same page marriage of Catherine Pearn & Thomas Fullam.......just in case its useful later!)
