Hi Toeboe,

In 1861 James was a Master Taylor employing one boy. Because registrations didn't start until 1854 in Scotland the marriage information I sent was from the Parish records. There was no mention of the names of the parents of either James or Elizabeth. There are a couple of James' in 1851 born around the right time. One was a medical student and the other a saddler. Ten years is a long time but if it is either of them I would say it was the saddler as I am sure they used sewing in their trade. It is however only a guess but if you want information on his family let me know.
As for Elizabeth Yuill, there are quite a few of them. I will have another look but I didn't see one born in the right area.
