Hi there,

Can anyopne help me find the death of Kate....maybe Nabarro.

She died in the 1940s when she was about 79. If she was born Nabarro, which I am 90% sure she was, then she was born in 1871/2.

I have spoken to my great aunt again today who says that Kate was defimitely a Nabarro when she died. I cannot however find a death for her.

There is no point in me looking for a marriage for Kate as previously advised.....my aunt is sure she never married.

I have looked under other names she may have been known by which are Nathan and Jacobs (see other posts!!).

She would have died in the new southgate area, and her last address was 105 cowper gardens, New southgate N11. She went into a home for a short while before she died.

I have found on some peoples trees on ancestry and googling that they have kate nabarro dying in 1942 in brixworth, although I have gotten nowehere trying to find out where there sourse came from.

Any help????

lol yes this would put her birth c 1871

right then........here's another one to solve!!!

There seems to be only one kate nabarro in the whole world..well at least in england anyway, at the time of mine.

So if my aunt is adamant that Kate lived with them in the late 30s early 40s and that she then went into a home before she died.....what the heck was she doing in brixworth, 80 miles away!!

I asked my aunt where Kate went when she went to the home, but she said she has no idea, and she didnt go to a funeral etc..wierd considering kate lived with her, and my aunt was her favourite grandchild! My aunt seemed to think that as Kate was dementing, she was sent to a home for disturbed people??? eek!

SO maybe, Kate had family near brixworth??? OR, she was sent to an asylum in the area. I used to work at st andrews in northampton (near brixworth!)...wouldnt that be spooky!
