I am looking for any records for the surname CASTLE. They originated from MILTON UNDER WYCHWOOD in OXFORDSHIRE. Is there anyone who could help me. Anything before 1760 if possible. My 4th great-grandfather Paul Castle (1760) was married to Ann Perkins (1765)

Sorry I have been away, just seen your e-mail. Thanks for the info on the Castles.
Regarding earlier Castles. Yes anything you can find would be much appreciated. I do have quite a bit to go on, but trying to find out who was married to whom, then puttting the children with the correct parents is proving quite difficult.
So if it isnt too much trouble for you Gilliam, I would love your help.

Sorry about the delay - found then forgot to post them! Old age! There are quite a few Castles in the area so I have just stuck to any in Milton u W.
Sep 8 1718 Paul Castle (of Lyneham) to Mary Whiter (of Milton)
Oct 18 1731 Thomas Castle to Susannah Fletcher
Oct 13 1746 marriage John Castle to Catherine Hall
If you have any specific queries I can look again

Will check Thomas & Susannah. Any idea who the parents of Thomas are please?

Another query you may be able to help me with. Charlotte Castle married Samuel Stringer in 1822. Is there anyway you can check for any children from that marriage for me.

Hi Dot - I don't think Thomas' birth was there but I will have another look when I get the opportunity. If Charlotte and Samuel were married in M-u-W I should be able to find their children. You may have to wait again though.
