Default 1891 & 1901 census look up please... George Poisden

I'm havin' a 'blonde moment' ... appologies to all blondes!
I can't seem to find my George on the 1891 census or the 1901 census... I have him on other years ~ just this gap I can't fill.
He was at Clockhouse Cottages in Boughton Blean (near Faversham) in 1881, so I think he is probably still in Kent.
He was born c1832 & died c1913. Born in Sheldwich, Kent & was married to Anne Maria b. c1855 in Godmersham, Kent. (I don't know her date of death).
Any help would be great.

Hi Kirst, is 1832 his correct birth date? The 1901 I posted was born 1832. However, Kimmy's 1891 find seems to fit, except he was born 1848, if he's the right one.........then this is him in 1901.

Name: George Porsden Age: 52 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1849 Relation: Head Spouse's Name: Annie M Gender: Male Where born: Sheldwich, Kent, England

Right Kimmy & Slizzy...
The date I had was 1832, but I had not updated the tree I was looking on... which I have now done!
George's correct date is 1847/8 & if anyone could do a BMD lookup for me to get the exact year I'd be most grateful. (lack of funds !!!)He was apparently born in Sheldwich, Kent.
This is great that you've both found the family for me.

I've just been in touch with the family that own the farm land and the farm that George & his father worked on in 1861 & 1871. Amazing that they still run & own the farm!!!

Kimmy, I wonder if your Edward Shallcross taught my children's G.grandfather Percy Charles (the 8 year old on the census)... wouldn't that be something???

Thanks to you both

Hello
George Poisden March 1847 Faversham 5 177. My Edwards wife was the School Mistress as well so there's every chance they taught them, I found an article in a Bygone Kent book about him, he had a row with the school board and pretty much told them to shove the job. Have you read any of the Bygone Kent books wealth of information.

Hi Kim
Thanks for your help... I haven't seen the 'Bygone' books but I will try & get hold of one... they sound really interesting. Do you know if there are any old school records for the school?

Hello Kirst
I've never even thought about school records thanks for that, the Bygone Kent books they keep at the library but you can get them off a well known auction site.
