Oh.... Who were they?
This address came up on a record pertaining to some relatives of mine and I have no knowledge of any of them ever living there. ![]() |

Oh, well none of those ring any bells, nor are they mentioned on the record... Will have to look further into it.
Thanks Lyn |

Well, it was mentioned in the Records of Sun Office; John Atkins (Deptford) and James Laughton, trustees under George Warrington's will. George was deceased, John was living in Union Street, Deptford and James was unaccounted for - this is in 1837. The addresses listed were 11-13 and 14 Flagon Row, Deptford and Surrey Place.
So was looking for James Laughton. Now that I think of it, he was living in Flagon row in 1826, so may have been the '14 Flagon Row'. George had a plumbing business in Flagon Row, so I assume he took up a few places. After all that - James Laughton, probably in Deptford. No ideas on age. If you can find him, that would be superb! ![]() Baz |

Sorry, no joy!
I looked for any James Laughton/Loughton in London/Middlesex and there were none who would fit the bill. In 1851, there is one in 1 Victoria Tce, St Mary, Newington whose occupation is very hard to read and is 2 words, the 2nd of which may or may not be Plumber. In 1841 there is one Plumbers' Asst in Cannon St, The Tower Hamlets, but he is too young...only 14, which would make him 10 in 1837...too young to be a trustee to a will. Sorry that I was not able to be of more help. Lyn |
