Hi. Sorry about the name but I am looking for Emma Brown
She was born about 1837.
Her age on the 1871 census would make her born in 1837 but the age in 1881 would make her born 1839
On the 1871 census she says she was born in Camberwell but 1881 census says Deptford.
Emma Brown married John Southgate in 1857 and the name of her father is blank, so I presume she didnt know him, so he might have been desceased on both 1841 & 1851 census or at least the 1851 census. She may also never have had a father.
I dont know her mothers name.
On the marriage certificate 1857 she is resident at Grove Lane.
On the 1861 census she would be Emma Southgate, with husband John [John was born in Suffolk].
I would be very grateful for any help here please.

Are John and Emma lodgers or does it give a relationship to the other people in the household? I know Joseph is Johns son by a previous marriage.
Emma is now saying born in Bermondsey I presume all these places are very close to each other? Bermondsey> Camberwell> Deptford?
