Thread: BIRTH LOOK-UP?

Hi,
Can anyone help me with a birth for MARY SMITH b.c. 1858/1859 in ENGLAND?
The parents are THOMAS SMITH tailor journeyman & JANE DOUGLAS.
All I have is that she was born somewhere in ENGLAND.
She is listd on the 1881/ 1891/ 1901 census in GLASGOW. Her place of birth-ENGLAND.
She was a visitor in 1881, & married to DONALD BIGGS in 1882 in GLASGOW.
I have her marriage & death & the birth of her 10 children, but nothing to tell me where she was from.
Her marriage & death list the parents as above. Her mother deceased before 1882, her father deceased before 1913, when MARY died.
Any ideas?
Not knowing where in ENGLAND, I have not found them on the 1861, or 1871 census. If her mother died when Mary was very young, her father could have remarried, which complicates it further!
