hi,

this is proving to be a bit of a challenge !!

im looking for a mary ann roberts on the 1861 or 1851 census, she was born in Llanshillen, Denbighshire, Wales in 1845 her father was a shoemaker called John Roberts, she married in liverpool in 1865

any help would be great

I guess this is her in 1861 though it doesn't help much. Eyton Denbighshire Wales - Joseph Ellis 64 farmer 19 acres born Eyton
Margaret Ellis 62 b Chirk
Mary Ann Roberts 16 house servant b Denbighshire Chirk
Chirk would be the right area for Llansilin.
The registration district for Llansilin is Oswestry. If you are certain of the date of birth then this is the most likely - September quarter 1845 Mary Ann Roberts Oswestry 18 143 - but of course there are others at around the same time.
