Ok so I have started on hubbies side of the family and hit my first problem I am trying to find the marriage of John Spencer (Spenser) to a Mary Ann ??now there are actually two problems one who is Mary Ann and Two where did they marry.
John Spenser was born in Powick Worstershire in c 1830 and Mary Ann ?? was born C 1841 Newry Ireland, they had at least two children in Ireland George as born c1859 in Dublin and James born c1860 in Richmond Ireland. Can anybody help PLEASE,lol. Thankyou for taking the time to read this Sueyxx |

I'll say you have a teeny problem Suey. I had a quick look at Freebmd for the years 1846 (when John would have been 16) up to 1856 (when he would have been 26) In those years there are 41 men named John Spencer married, and all of them have a Mary Ann on the same page. Phew!

I would say there is a reasonable chance they were married in Ireland particulary as two children were born there, particularly as the first was born when Mary Ann would have been about 18. What was Johns occupation? |
